Balcón de la Plaza

One of the best hotels we stayed at in Argentina. The rooms were quiet, with a big comfortable bed, and the main plaza is just around the corner. There's 24h parking right beside the hotel and a good spread at breakfast. A special shout-out to Maxi (?) for being so kind and accommodating while we were there.

The only thing I'd change is the mug size at breakfast. As a tea person, I found the little coffee mugs annoying. Otherwise, everything was perfect: the location, room interior, cleanliness, helpful staff, and breakfast. The attention to detail is above any standards, well done!

We came back for a second one-night stay after touring Salta and Jujuy province, and would choose this hotel again. It's an easy walk to the main plaza, restaurants, bars, museums, and churches. After our first stay, we left laundry there, and it was kept for us until we returned five nights later. Service was friendly and very good. Our spacious room faced a small courtyard that we could access directly, with chairs, tables, and a fireplace for cold nights. The bathroom was clean and new, with a local style we liked. Breakfast is a buffet on the 1st floor, with fried or scrambled eggs available on request. For Argentinian standards, the quality and variety were decent: fresh orange juice, pastries, bread, cheese, ham, jams, honey, dulce de leche, and cereal. A lovely hotel in the heart of Salta, just one block from the main plaza.

Amazing service and a good location. The rooms were great, modern, and clean, with comfortable beds.
