We can't say the restaurant impressed us. Dinner there the night before was probably one of the worst meals we had during our month in Argentina. My salmon and potatoes arrived cold, and the fish was dry. My family had hamburgers, and said the meat was rubbery and the buns hard. One of them even found a small piece of cardboard in his burger. The service wasn't impressive either. The empanadas deserve credit, but that's about all. Check-in went fine, and the room was clean and perfectly okay. We had paid for breakfast, but were leaving very early the next morning, so the female receptionist offered us a breakfast to go, apparently in a box. It never arrived. When we mentioned it to the male receptionist at checkout, he hurried to the restaurant kitchen and came back with trays of croissants and sliced ham. That was pretty inconvenient with no way to carry them and our driver waiting outside.

We were told by the woman in the lobby that we could park for free on the street, but found out that wasn't true when we left in the morning. Parking also costs extra. The location is good, an easy walk from the center, and breakfast was nice with very good service. We stayed two nights in rooms 408 and 508, and both got a lot of noise from the elevator. The windows are really thin and let in heat and noise.

The beds were comfortable and the rooms a good size, and the breakfast was good. They even served scrambled eggs, which isn't usual in Argentine hotels. The location is great, though the hotel feels a little unfinished in places. Check-in and checkout take a while, so allow for that.

I really love this place and plan to stay again. The rooms are very expensive, though, at $200 or more a night. I think ours was nearly $300 per night. Lots of pilots and cabin crew stay here. The food gets maybe 2 percent from me, it's not worth it. Our stay was good in some ways, but I didn't feel so good about the trust side of things. Be careful with your privacy.
