I’d have preferred to work things out with the people in charge instead of writing a bad review. I tried, but there was no solution, so I had to abandon the trip and leave early. The place is advertised as a beautiful, clean, inviting cabana for tourists, and it costs more than cabanas that actually look like the brochures. When I asked for a price reduction given what happened, the staff member agreed my experience had been problematic but refused. On arrival, it was filthy. I sent photos of mud-caked floors, used toilet paper in the bathroom bin, greasy appliances, and piles of sand in the bathroom. There were no cleaning cloths, bin liners, or supplies, so washing dishes wasn’t possible. Nobody was on site to manage the place, receive guests, or deal with problems. The only staff contact works full time at another job in a different part of Salta. The pool was a swamp, and there was no bath mat in the shower, so the smooth tiles were slippery. The bedroom had no light bulb and was pitch black. After a pipe burst and flooded the place yesterday, there was no hot water for a shower today. The response was that “it is supposed to be rustic”.
