Breakfast was poor and there wasn’t enough of it. We also found ants on the floor and hairs in the bed. In 24 hours, we encountered five different people at reception, and asked each of them nicely if they could leave us some space in the free hostel parking lot. No luck. After we’d cleared the room and checked out, they told us to leave even though we were still having breakfast. We moved to reception to sort out an online problem, but they asked us to leave the hostel because other guests were arriving. Unbelievable hospitality, or lack of it. One of my worst experiences while travelling in Argentina.

We just wanted to understand the change, and we were calm the whole time. We even said we’d pay the higher amount. In the morning, we’d been told one night for one person would cost 1300 pesos and that we could pay later. When we came to pay, the price had become 2100 pesos per person. Then the owner suddenly started yelling at us, got right in our faces, and threatened to call the police. He wouldn’t let us get a word in and said antisemitic things. It was a crazy, scary experience.

The rooms are cute and practical :) The person handling check-in and welcoming guests was so friendly and helpful. I’d definitely recommend it.
