We expected this to be a good base for visiting Pulmamarca, then relaxing for a couple of days before our holiday ended. The photos suggested there were lots of activities, but when we arrived we were shocked to find we were the only guests, so we cancelled the extra days. We still loved our suite, and the receptionist was super friendly. We had a glass of wine in the hot tub during the one night we stayed. Everything looked great, so it's a mystery to me why nobody else was there.

The setting is peaceful, with lovely views, and the rooms are nice. Service was good and the food was too, especially the delicious empanadas. At the time I wrote this, you could get there from Salta by bus on the "6 La Caldera" route.

The mountain scenery is beautiful, with greenery all around, and the place feels bright and peaceful. It's lovely for unwinding, and the empanadas are the best in Salta, highly recommend them! Everyone is incredibly warm and welcoming. Music played at different times adds to the harmonious atmosphere.
