Hotel Astur

The door wouldn't lock. When we told the receptionist, he said it was fine and nobody would come into the room. The air conditioner was very noisy and didn't cool the room enough, while the pool was only half full and dirty. Breakfast was meant to start at 7:00 am, but at 7:30 the breakfast area was still closed. A horrible experience. If you can, don't stay here.

We spent two nights here. The hotel was nice, but there were several problems: the toilet was clogged, the bathroom light didn't work, and the air conditioner wouldn't cool. One night, a woman came into our room, stared at us, then went outside and started shooting. We told the concierge the next day, and all she said was, "She must have used a master key." There was no apology or anything more. The service was very poor, and I don't recommend this place.

Breakfast was basically just a couple of pieces of toast, and when we asked, the woman serving us bluntly said they had run out of food. Her attitude and the service were terrible.

The rooms are lovely and the hotel is generally kept in very good shape. Breakfast comes with the room, but it was mediocre at best, and the bar manager was quite unfriendly. Service at the buffet was poor, and they need to improve that part of the experience.
