Mirador de Salta House

The neighbourhood was quiet, and it was easy to walk to the central plaza and the Carrefour supermarket in Alto Noa shopping centre. The bus terminal was about a 10 min Uber/taxi ride away. Ana, the host, was friendly and easy to reach on WhatsApp. My wife and I stayed four nights in a private room with its own external bathroom. We liked the clear labels showing which bathroom belonged exclusively to which room. There was plenty of shelf space in our comfortable, spacious room, and the open layout of the property, with its terrace, patio, game room, and kitchen with lots of seats, made the place feel airy and breezy, which was great for Salta's warm summer. At night the room could still feel a little stuffy sometimes, even with the fan. Also, after flushing the toilet, cold water from the shower could dwindle to a tiny trickle for a while. Warm water worked fine, but in the summer heat we preferred a cold shower.

Had a good stay. The hostel was neat and clean, really liked it and strongly recommend it.

The hostess was one of the kindest people we met in Argentina, always ready to help during our stay. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Good, beautiful, and cheap sums it up. I absolutely recommend it for the location, comfort, and especially the hostess!
