Areco Hostel

We were a group of 10, and they closed the house for us, so it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. It's a really nice, cozy spot.

The house is enormous and old, but it was spotless, with not a cobweb anywhere. That level of cleanliness really stood out. The manager was helpful, too. My husband, son, and I spent two days there on our own, roaming around freely and having a spectacular time. The location is hard to beat. We had hot water, comfortable beds, Wi-Fi, and cable TV that worked all day. We'd definitely come back.

It was a very hot night, and the fan wasn't enough for the four of us in the room. Apart from that, everything was fine. We stayed just one night and found comfortable rooms, a huge patio, and a spacious, clean kitchen and dining area. There are two shared bathrooms, both in excellent condition. The owner provided good service, clean sheets and towels were included, and debit cards are accepted. The place is opposite the main square in the old town, in a very convenient spot.

We'd definitely return. The colonial house is spacious and has a relaxing feel, and the kitchen is equipped. Wi-Fi worked perfectly, and the hot water was great. The location was excellent, and the owner was super friendly. A lovely stay and good value for money.
