Hotel Drumond

Ramón at the concierge desk was excellent, very attentive and quick to address all our concerns. Our room was pretty small, but seemed fair for the price. The shower had excellent hot water, and being half a block from the main square was fantastic.

I was a little worried after reading negative reviews about Meridiano, the bus, and the hotel before booking. Still, I decided to go ahead. The bus was in excellent shape, and the trip took five hours. With other companies I've used, it has taken up to seven or eight. The hotel is comfortable, though nothing fancy, and the staff's attention made the stay more enjoyable. For what I paid for the package, it was fine. I traveled with my 8-month-old baby, and they were attentive to her needs the whole time. The shower worked perfectly and the bed was comfortable. The room wasn't very big, but we managed just fine.

The staff were so kind, and I want to thank them for the wonderful service. I visited a few days ago and found the hotel lovely and cozy, right on the beach. Its position between downtown San Bernardino and Mar de Ajó meant we could easily walk to either. They have a 24-hour reception, sell hot water for mate, and rent beach chairs. Excellent! 🫰🏻

The one good thing was the location, right across from the beach. The rest of our stay was awful. There were four of us, but they put us in a room meant for two, with one double bed and a bunk bed. We had barely 10 centimeters to walk toward the bathroom or around the room. The bathroom was tiny and cramped, with no curtains, so everything got wet. There was no room to change, set down clothes or towels, or dry off, and water leaked under the door. For our four days, we got just one towel and one small bar of soap each. The sheets and towels were never changed. The manager was very rude. Breakfast was one croissant per person and six rolls. The breakfast area, with four small tables by the entrance and another four on the other side, was so cramped that we had to wait to eat. There was no cable or Wi-Fi in the rooms.
