The lunch was the only part I enjoyed. The spa felt rushed, with set times for the steam room, sauna, pool, and massage, and staff telling you when to move on. The sauna and steam rooms were tiny, shared with another couple, and the sauna was only around 50 degrees Celsius. I was told there was no need to shower before the pool, and nobody did. The water looked cloudy. My massage therapist seemed uninterested, and although it was meant to last 50 minutes, it was only 40. I was also left without a blanket, so I felt cold and exposed the whole time. I went for a relaxing spa day and didn’t get one. Avoid the spa.

We were left waiting for help during the day, and nobody checked whether we wanted water or anything else. At lunch, the staff first said it wasn’t included, then offered us a starter, main, dessert, and coffee after checking, then came back to say it only covered one dish and a drink. We wasted time choosing from the menu twice and ended up with a salad and lemonade, with no bread. We were the only guests using this service, so they should have known what our reservation covered. Earlier, electrical problems meant a technician was working around the spa. He interrupted one friend’s massage twice, and my other friend and I, in bikinis between the traditional and dry saunas, ran into him while he was working. I felt uncomfortable at one point. We’d planned a relaxing day with massages, exfoliation, and lunch, but the service was very poor. At least we had each other’s company. I wouldn’t pay 5000 pesos for this again.

A lovely place to spend a laid-back day. The staff are incredible, the afternoon tea is great, and the massages are some of the best I’ve ever had. Ask about day passes that include massages.

The markets beside you are among the nicest spots in San Sidro. The furnished apartments are excellent too, with a great location and good cleanliness.

A lovely boutique hotel in a great spot, with really good service. There’s a swimming pool, and breakfast is included, with delicious traditional Argentinian food.
