The manager was easily the best part of our stay. He was helpful, always answered our questions, and I have no complaints about his service. The photos of the complex are an accurate reflection of the place, too. My rating comes to 4.5 stars, and I’m very grateful for everything. We stayed in apartment 1, the larger unit. It has three bedrooms spread over the two upper floors, a complete set of dishes, sheets and towels, Wi-Fi, cable TV and a grill. The kitchen is small, but the heating kept us comfortable on cool December nights in San Martín. There are a few things that need attention. The jacuzzi wasn’t working properly and its water was too lukewarm, while the outdoor pool was unavailable all week. The grills also need a protective screen and chimney to contain or disperse sparks, since the nearby trees could pose a fire risk. The location is good, about 10-15 blocks from the center, along the alternative road into the city. You’ll need a car because the hill on the way back is steep. It’s also about 500 meters from the road to Yuco, Nonthué and Hua Hum. There’s street parking for four vehicles.

The cabin felt roomy and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen, a grill, and spotless sheets and towels. Service was good, too. The pool could be used, but the sun deck is quite small and gets shaded quickly. With so much to do in San Martin, I’m not sure it’s really needed anyway. I’d recommend the place.

Andres was always around if we needed anything, and the cleaning staff were very thorough. Our unit was comfortable and had everything we needed. The complex itself is beautiful, and I’m already looking forward to returning.
