Hotel Turis

Everyone working there was great, and the service was excellent. The food was fresh, though breakfast got repetitive with croissants and bread or toast every day. The hotel itself is nice, but the room bathrooms are a little small if you have mobility issues.

Mariano, the only waiter, was a 10. I felt bad seeing the women working there looking sad or angry all the time, and I can imagine they don't have much choice but to work there. As for the hotel, it was horrible. There was hardly room to move, the bathroom was the worst I've ever seen, and the food was terrible. I don't usually let other people's comments sway me, so I came to see for myself, but if you're hoping for a quiet few days, I wouldn't recommend this horror of a hotel.

The people at reception and around the hotel were warm, attentive, and really helpful. We felt safe in the quiet neighborhood, even though it's a simple area and a bit out of the way. The dining room has plenty of space, but the tables are set too close together and I'd rearrange them. Food could be better, though at this price I expected that. The rooms are very small, especially the bathroom, and need some upkeep. Thank you to the staff!

Lunch was generous and delicious, and the hotel felt like good value. The room was small but comfortable for the two of us, even though it was meant for three. Heating was more than enough, so we cracked the window, and the shower was so hot and powerful that we mixed in cold water. Breakfast was simple, with coffee, milk, croissants, toast, jam, and cream cheese. One thing I didn't like: on the day I skipped the Rol Sol excursion, they didn't give me a packed lunch, which I thought should have been included with full board. I'd read some awful reviews, but the staff we met were friendly and ready to help. The hotel was very good.
