Ambit Boulevard Hotel Boutique

The breakfasts were great, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It's an excellent hotel.

It's comfortable, in a nice central location, and has a very pleasant atmosphere. But the pool was dirty, with feathers, pigeon droppings, and even a sponge in it, although we'd already told reception we planned to use it. I also asked ahead about gluten-free breakfast options. They promised to have some, but there was nothing for me when breakfast came. The service is the part I'd improve.

I was there for a work trip and stayed three nights. The hotel is lovely and well located, near the bus terminal, downtown, and the waterfront. Breakfast isn't buffet style, but it's varied and the service was good. The staff let me leave my bags and use the common area for a few hours after checkout, which was a nice touch. The TV didn't work any of the three nights, and a few things could use minor maintenance, like stiff light switches and loose outlets, but nothing ruined the stay. I'd definitely return.

Ámbit Boulevard is set in a historic mansion that still has plenty of character, with a thoughtful renovation that gives each space its own feel and warmth. There's a lovely eye for detail throughout. The location on Bv. Gálvez is especially convenient for exploring the city on foot. Our room was spacious and bright, with high ceilings, wooden floors, and fine materials. The bed was very comfortable, the air conditioning worked perfectly, which matters in Santa Fe, and the balcony was a big plus. The rooftop pool terrace is intimate and well designed, with an open view that made us want to stay awhile. Breakfast was fresh, complete, and varied enough to start the day well. The hotel balances its historic character with contemporary touches, and the service felt warm. The atmosphere was quiet and almost homey. We wanted something with more personality and a human touch than a traditional hotel, and this suited us perfectly. We'd definitely come back.
