Olmos de la Colina

The owners were quite friendly, though when I offered a suggestion as I was leaving, the owner just left me talking to myself. That was a shame. I wouldn’t come back. For the price, we expected better. The place needs maintenance, the bedrooms are tiny, and some cabins don’t even have a mirror or closet. The grounds are basic, and the pool wasn’t available. Even in April, when the weather was perfect for sunbathing, it wasn’t set up for that. The bathroom has the bidet in the toilet.

The cabins had everything we needed for our week-long stay, and they were comfortable. The place itself is lovely, clean, peaceful, and well kept. The pool was very nice too. It’s close to the river and a little away from the center, which made it especially quiet and suited the kind of getaway we wanted. We’re very grateful to Marcos and Laura for their hospitality. Marcos and Laura make you feel at ease, and this is a beautiful spot to unwind among trees, birds, and nature. We’ve come for the second time, four years after our first visit, and everything was excellent. The cabins have air conditioning, LED lights, a microwave, and a refrigerator, along with a grill. There’s also a large, clean pool. Highly recommended!

The property is lovely, but it needs maintenance, and the cabins are small. The pool area could have been a nice place to sit with mate and sunbathe, but it was closed even though the days were long. For what it costs, there should be a shared space. We were a large group, took four cabins, and had nowhere to gather.
