I wouldn't recommend this place at all. The service was very poor, and the room was filthy. It seemed like they didn't even wash the sheets. There was no toilet paper, soap, or towels in the bathroom. I stayed for two days and came home covered in welts. I was diagnosed with bedbug bites. A total nightmare. Zero stars.
For $35,000 COP per room in January 2026, this affordable hostel was more than satisfactory for a one-night stay. My room had a double bed and a single bed, hot water, parking, clean sheets, and decent service. It's across from Our Lady of Carmen Church.
The beds, sheets, and blankets were clean, as was the bathroom, and there was hot water. They don't provide towels. The Wi-Fi barely connects and is practically unusable. The TV is very old, and the cable keeps cutting out.
The room had a strong damp smell, and they offer no services. The staff, though, were attentive and helpful.
I regret not checking the other reviews first. It would have saved me a horrible night. Don't go here. The rooms are small, filthy, and completely unmaintained. The comforters and sheets were dirty and infested with bugs. Mosquitoes seemed squashed into the walls and ceiling, which also looked splattered with blood. There was a strong, deep damp smell. The bathroom fixtures barely worked: the sink kept leaking, the bidet was loose, and the shower was stuck so no water came out. The common areas were filthy too. The fridge was covered in mold, the electric kettle was oily, and the trash can was never emptied. If you have to pay a little more, do it. You'd only waste the money here.
