Hotel Bristol

I’d recommend it for the value, and it’s in a great spot. The staff are attentive and very pleasant, and they welcome all kinds of pets, which is a real plus. The hotel’s age and much of its furniture are a treat if you enjoy things from the past century.

The food at Las Tinajas was a highlight: Santiago-style empanadas, humita, grilled goat with wine, then cayote with cheese and walnuts. Everything was delicious. The pool outside and the thermal mineral water in the rooms were both at a lovely temperature for relaxing. The Bristol is a century-old hotel and a historical landmark in Termas, yet it’s very well cared for. The owners were around and keen to make guests comfortable, and everyone, staff and owners alike, was kind. The central location is ideal for walking, in a very safe area. We had such a wonderful stay that we’ll definitely come back. Highly recommend it, and thanks to everyone for making us feel so welcome. Greetings from Vero in Bahía Blanca and from me in La Plata. It’s an old-fashioned, quaint hotel, but it had what we needed before continuing our trip. The beds were spacious and comfortable, and there’s quiet air conditioning plus a ceiling fan. Breakfast was simple, and parking is available. There are thermal pools, though it was too hot for us to use them.

We had a lovely time here with family and friends. The hotel has marked its 100th anniversary and has been renovated and expanded over the years. Service was excellent and the price felt fair. It’s right in the city center. Just note that getting to the pool means going down stairs, depending on where your room is.
