Breakfast was okay, and the three cats hanging around were a real joy. But our room was poorly maintained. With no AC or fan, it felt like a stove in the afternoon, and the shower was partly broken, with handles that didn't work properly. It looked like a great choice, but they need to fix the shower and add AC for hot days.

The room was clean and the bed was large and comfortable, but I thought the price was about 30% too high for what you get. It cost 124,000, which seems excessive for this area, a little outside the “centre” of Tilcara. We couldn't use the pool because of the weather that day. Breakfast wasn't bad, but could be better: the croissants were hard, the yogurt too sweet, and eggs or pancakes weren't available on request. There was no water in the room, and the Wi-Fi didn't work. Decent place, just overpriced.

The mountain view from the heated pool is lovely. The rooms are spacious, with nice touches of traditional decor, and the service was excellent. Breakfast was good too.

A charming, pretty place, with a good breakfast and friendly cats. The walk up is long and follows a rocky road, though, and the rooms and facilities felt cramped.
