Hotel Canto Del Viento

The rooms are warm and cozy, the beds very comfortable, and the view from the window is great. Breakfast was good too, and I’d recommend the hotel. Just be aware of what happened to us: unless you arrive exactly at check-in time, your booked and prepaid room might be rented to someone else. We were put up for the night in a completely different hotel of significantly lower quality. It was unpleasant having to explain to the owner that the overnight stay there shouldn’t cost the same, and he refused to understand at first. We eventually reached an agreement, but damn, it wasn’t cool.

We meant to stay one night and ended up there for 3 days. The place was amazing, and the homemade food was great too. The breakfast buffet was elaborate. With a room that had a view and a bath, we felt like we were in a luxery hotel. 10000% recommend this place!

I had a room with a fantastic view of the town, and the hotel was beautiful, clean and luxurious. Breakfast was great and the Wi-Fi quite good. The uphill walk is a bit of a downside, and there are some aggressive dogs along the road.

Don’t go here! Cantos del Viento is playing a key role in the expropriation of indigenous people from their land, putting a fragile desert ecosystem at risk.
