The snow made our stay feel magical, and the room was cozy with a great view of Ushuaia. There's a loft where the kids can hang out and play board games. Breakfast was really nice. The lift only fits one person with luggage, so it's inconvenient, though the stairs are an option. I don't like having to leave my keys at reception.

The balcony was a lovely place to sit with a hot drink and enjoy the view, but we only discovered it on the day we left. Nobody showed us around or explained what was available. The host didn't feel welcoming or hospitable to us, which was surprising given Argentina's reputation for friendliness. The rooms were very small, and we were in a separate section, perhaps because we had a young baby. At first that seemed fine, until we realized there was a shared “living room” beneath us. Some guests there were loud, and the walls were very thin. The room view was excellent and cleaning was good, but there was no door sign to decline service. We got takeout one day and, a minute later, the owner came to say we weren't allowed to eat in the rooms, only in the shared dining area. We saw cameras and felt guests were being monitored, rather than the cameras being there for security or safety like in other hotels. I hope there weren't hidden cameras in the rooms too. Then at 11:30 p.m. one night, the owner came up the stairs to our section, where there were only our two rooms. I heard him and stepped outside; he was one stair away, then turned back as I opened the door and said, “Oh, you're back.” What was that about? The mattress could be better, and the towels were worn out, some with visible holes. The hotel also isn't accessible for disabled people or families with babies using strollers, apart from the elevator from street level to the main lobby. There are stairs between areas on the main level, including the way to reception and the rooms. That's true of the whole city too. Given the owner's behavior, I wouldn't recommend staying here.

For $15, breakfast was just some bread and butter, while nearby hostels offered more for less. The room cost a lot and gave you less than they did. The staff were rude and unwelcoming. I wouldn't recommend it or go back.

We had a room with an amazing view and comfortable beds. The bathroom was on the small side but nicely furnished, and the shower was great. Breakfast tasted good, though there were no eggs, sausages, or vegetables. It's quite close to the city center, and I'd definitely recommend booking here.

The bathroom floor was heated, a nice bonus, and the view was great. It was an easy walk to the harbor and the main district on San Martin, though Ushuaia is very hilly. Getting to Jarke's lobby means stairs unless you're dropped at the upper level, and there are more stairs to the rooms, on top of the hills on the walk there. The room got hot even with the heat switched off, so I kept the window open.
