Cabañas Uspallata

We booked a cabin for a couple of nights, but the app showed the wrong location. It's a 25 minute walk from the town center. The cabins were very cold and outdated too, though we didn't really mind those things. What made this an awful experience was being charged twice and then never getting our money back. At check-in, the lovely lady asked us to pay because there was no reception to check the reservation. I explained that I thought we'd already paid, but she insisted. The next day, we showed the receipt and explained that we'd paid twice. She was very kind and assured us we'd get a refund the following day, but said she couldn't do it right then for some unexplainable reason. We gave our account details, but nothing happened. We stayed in contact with management, Hernan, who didn't help and said we'd have to pay an international transaction fee, even though they'd charged us again by mistake. They claimed the money had been transferred and kept repeating that in messages, but never took action. We never got it back, and management didn't care. We felt terribly mistreated as visitors. It was the worst experience of our 10 months in South America. They seem very greedy. Don't go!
