Isla Victoria Lodge

We loved the boat ride to the island, the forest trek, and the picnic on a secluded beach. Such an incredible experience, with lovely staff, great food, and a stunning setting. Wish we’d stayed longer. Highly recommended, and a must do in Bariloche!

Really, really good. Especially excellent.

We went as a couple, and now we want to come back with the family. The service from everyone on the hotel team was outstanding, and their kindness and dedication made the stay wonderful. The beds, towels, and sheets were all high quality. There were also plenty of ways to explore the island, including kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and bikes. We could spend the whole day at the beaches or floating on the lake among white sand shores and turquoise water. The hiking routes seemed endless, through forests with deer and ancient trees down to the shore. It was an environment unlike anywhere else I’ve found in the south. We hadn’t expected the signature cuisine to be so good. It went well beyond what we expected, with a menu that changes every day and every hour. The dishes we tried really immersed us in Patagonia.

Three nights here, and we’d happily make it an annual return. The scenery was breathtaking, the food delicious, everything spotless, and the peace and quiet were an added bonus. The service was wonderful. Valeria, thanks so much, you’re a fantastic host. Marcos, your love for the island comes through every moment. And thank you, Macu, Rocio, and Selene.
