There wasn’t a vegetarian dish on the menu.

We’ve stayed at Sol Victoria many times and always have a fantastic time. The service is excellent, and the pool area has a great river view and relaxing pools. When my wife had a health issue last night, they kindly let me cancel today’s reservation without charging me. It’s a wonderful hotel, and we’ll always return.

The staff were extremely friendly, polite and helpful, and the hotel is definitely worth visiting. On the top floor, there’s a lookout lounge with a lovely view, armchairs, tables and even a TV. We enjoyed drinking mate there while it rained. The park isn’t huge, but there are plenty of loungers. The infinity pool outside is heated year-round, which suited me since I don’t like very cold water. The indoor pool is heated too, though its heater wasn’t working this time. When it rained all day, the jacuzzi got overcrowded, but there aren’t many rainy-day options in Victoria. Breakfast had lots of choice, including sparkling wine if you want it, and they bring coffee to your table. Cleaning was very quick and left everything spotless. The restaurant menu is interesting, and what we tried was delicious and plentiful. You can also eat at the Casino bar, which has a varied menu. The rooms are standard and comfortable, though a few details need attention: the wardrobe door was broken and almost impossible to open, and the armchair had a broken leg. Luckily, we didn’t sit on it.

I’m staying at the hotel now, and I can’t give a proper review without mentioning how dangerous the pool is for children. My two-year-old son’s leg got sucked into a fingernail filter in the pool, and he couldn’t walk afterward. It left a terrible mark. Thankfully it wasn’t more serious, but it could have been a disaster. Running a filter in a pool where children are playing is extremely dangerous, and the pool should be closed.
