The bathrooms are tiny, and those toilet seats look like they’re from the last century. Still, it’s very social, with lots of asado, trips and stuff.

I won’t forget my stay here, and a lot of that is thanks to the hostel and its host. She was incredibly kind, flexible, and always ready to help before we even had to ask. The hostel itself was one of the best I’ve seen: clean, well organized, and full of good energy. People were happy to help, and it was a lovely place to meet others.
We arrived early in the morning and got an access code, so getting in was no problem at all, which was really helpful. The location is excellent if you’re on foot, just two blocks from the bus terminal and downtown. The facilities are good, too. There’s no permanent reception desk; volunteers live at the hostel, so you can ask them if you need something. They were friendly and the service was good.
Silvia is a sweetheart, so warm and helpful, and the hostel has a welcoming feel, with lovely shared spaces and conversations that make it feel like home. I was treated exceptionally well, and they even let me store a scooter I’d rented for a couple of days. I stayed in a double room with air conditioning during the first few days of January. It was a very nice stay. The electrical outlets and the bidet, which wasn’t working, could use attention, and a couple more bedside tables might help. In the evenings they always offer a set menu, and the food is delicious and very affordable. There’s also a kitchen if you’d rather cook, or you can eat out. The service feels like being at home, with helpful people and incredible energy. I’d go back a thousand times. One of the best experiences of my life.
Our flight was quite delayed, but the staff waited for us the night we arrived. They’re really friendly, and the location is great. We had a six-bed room with three bunk beds, and both the room and the shared bathroom were very clean. The refrigerator near the room could use a clean, though it still kept things cool. The main drawback is the heat if you’re in a top bunk. There are standing fans, but sharing them can be difficult when the room is full.
