Clima Serrano

The neighbors kept shouting, so there was never any peace and quiet. We left before our stay was over because we couldn't take it anymore, and the owner didn't even notice. The location is nice, but everything else we encountered was awful, especially the service. We never met the owner and had to communicate by WhatsApp. The directions were terrible from the start, with no signs at all. When we finally arrived, the cabin had exposed wires, loose outlets, and a bathroom falling apart and infested with slugs. There were only two of us, but barely one plate, and the few kitchen utensils were filthy. Boards painted “artistically” covered dampness in the kitchen. I never got a hot shower, and the owner was never available, always late or busy. The pool was disgusting. The apartment was filthy, covered in dirt and cobwebs when we arrived, and though they asked us to leave it clean, there wasn't even a broom. The bed looked used, with hair on it. There wasn't even toilet paper, just a basic necessity. Everything was closed up and dark, and the windows were falling apart.

The room itself was okay, and the bathroom was acceptable. But the pool was full of bugs and had cloudy water. When we moved to another unit, the water heater's igniter wouldn't work, and the man there didn't know how to fix it either. After a lot of trying, we eventually got it going. The WiFi never worked, and he said the tower had burned out. The kitchen was poorly equipped, just two pots, with a moldy, mildewed cutting board, and the oven didn't work. Everything seemed dirty and neglected. At first, we entered a unit with no kitchen. The man there, who wasn't the owner, said the kitchens were in the units downstairs and we'd have to pay extra. On Booking.com, all the photos showed kitchens, and it was poorly explained that the upper units had none, with that detail only on a label. We never saw the owner. When we told him about the problems on WhatsApp, he offered to refund us only if we didn't go in or use the unit at all.

The room was nice and heated, and the price was great. The location is good too. Just be aware there are very few things to cook with. There's no oven, only a stovetop. When we arrived, the manager told us there would be a cleaning fee depending on the condition we left the room in, which we hadn't been told about beforehand. We cleaned everything before leaving, but he never showed up. The patio is very nice, though small.

A little run down, but a nice and accessible place, though there are plenty of accommodation options, including cheaper ones. Leaves build up in the pool, so it needs constant cleaning. The pump wasn't connected, and the bottom was dirty. In the room there's only an electric kettle, a small fridge, and a small TV.
