Complejo Samana Huasi

The building feels solid, but it's badly maintained and the service was terrible. Our cabin was dirty when we got it, with no basic cleaning supplies. The kitchen had very few utensils, and the ones provided were poor quality. We were given just one hand towel to share among six people for three days. Hygiene overall was lacking. I wouldn't recommend it at all.

It's in a great spot if you don't have a car, close to the main avenue, Av. del Sol. The grounds are peaceful, with a nice park, a pool, and covered parking. There are four spacious grills, always clean. At night, foxes sometimes come into the park, which is lovely for animal lovers 💕. The beds were uncomfortable: the double was two singles pushed together, with an annoying gap, and the pillows were too high and hard. All the bedding was stained. The shower was small, and its curtain was too short, so water got all over the bathroom. There was no dryer to mop it up.

The exterior looked beautiful and the location was great. Before we arrived, we got lots of information and friendly messages, but the stay itself was a very bad experience. We were charged an extra half day for checking in two hours before 2:00 PM. Since it was census day and everything was closed, we decided to pay, especially as half the stay is charged when booking. The cabin had no basic cleaning supplies, just a floor mop in the bathroom, and shower water flooded into the bedroom. The TV was very old and tinted everything green. The bedding was stained all over. It was very cold and there was no blanket in the room. They said they'd bring one right away, but it never came. We sent a goodbye message when we left despite all the problems, and never got a reply.

The kitchen worked fine, and the location was good. Outside, everything was well maintained, the fenced pool was clean, and parking was inside the complex just a few meters from the cabin. The grills were fine too. Inside, though, the cabin only looked clean at first. It smelled bad, and the furniture had only been dusted on the surface. We wiped the table with a damp cloth and got food stains off it. The kitchen utensils were incomplete and poorly washed, as was the cookware, so we had to ask for more. There were spoiled pizza slices inside the microwave. The beds and mattresses were very old and smelled bad. The sheets and pillowcases were in awful shape, so disgusting we had to wrap the pillows in towels. The towels themselves were clean.
