Cabañas y Posada El Milagro

Mulata, the black cat, greeted us with so much love, and the animals were a real highlight 🙏🏼🩷. The property itself is spacious and peaceful, but there were several disappointments. We had to ask for the filthy pool to be cleaned. The cabins are pretty but poorly lit, and you can hear absolutely everything from the neighboring cabin. The refrigerator barely cools, which is incredibly annoying in summer when you want cold drinks. Management staff were very friendly, but the dining room staff left much to be desired and didn’t even say good morning. Breakfast had very few, practically no, healthy choices. The coffee was undrinkable, and things like puddings and cakes were often burnt.

It was a good experience. The cabin was very nice, though it could use a few more electrical outlets, and daily cleaning was provided. Breakfast had quite a variety, with all the bread baked there. The cabins are a great option, in a quiet spot just a few minutes’ walk from the center.

My mother’s experience with the person serving breakfast was disappointing. She politely asked if she could take a pudding for my four-year-old brother, who was asleep at the time, but the request was flatly refused. It seemed reasonable, and the lack of empathy in the response was upsetting, especially as he’s so young. Guests’ needs, particularly those of children, should be considered. I hope things improve for future visits.

The pool was quite presentable, and breakfast was complete. I did notice improvements in some of the areas mentioned, but arrival at the cabin was handled inefficiently, and the entrance is in poor, dangerous condition. It’s a beautiful place that could have a high rating, yet it’s missing personal attention and care with the details.
