Panacea Hotel

The staff were consistently kind and helpful, which was a bright spot. The room itself was very plain, and cleanliness was disappointing: stained sheets and dead bugs inside the ceiling light. Breakfast was just coffee, pastries, and yogurt, with little variety for a place in this category. We also went three days without the advertised heated pool ever being open. For a hotel calling itself a boutique stay, the experience didn't meet expectations.

The pool is huge, and there's a roomy patio with access to the streams. The jacuzzi wasn't working, but that didn't bother us much. Panacea Hotel is only a block from the center and still feels peaceful and quiet. Breakfast had lots of variety, and coffee and hot water are available throughout the day. Superior rooms come with covered parking. The reception team kept checking that we were comfortable, and the cleaning staff were lovely and made everything spotless each day. Thank you for such good service, we'd happily recommend it.

The location was the one real plus during our Carnival stay. The garden, regular pool, and heated pool were lovely, and the staff were good. The hotel itself feels old and neglected, though. The parking area is full of potholes and could use better paving. Our bathtub was broken and the shower floor stayed waterlogged. Breakfast was the worst part: mostly flour-based food, no fresh fruit, canned fruit salad, and awful items in the basket.

The breakfast spread was incredibly generous and varied, and I loved having both a large pool and an indoor jacuzzi since I get cold easily. There was always hot water for mate, plus complimentary coffee, which made it a great fit for people who enjoy both. The facilities were clean and comfortable, and the whole place felt charming and welcoming, from the accommodation to the staff. I was delighted to discover this place in Villa General Belgrano, which I hadn't known about. I'd love to come back and keep exploring Córdoba, which always surprises. Thanks for the kind attention!
