Spectacular!!

The two pools are beautiful, and breakfast was impeccable. We had an amazing few days and will definitely come back. The rooms were gorgeous and spotless, and every detail throughout the place felt carefully considered. Service was personal and attentive, with nothing left to chance. Everything about the stay was incredible. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality, we’d love to have more moments like this!

We’ve stayed here several times over the years, and the service has always been friendly. Still, there are quite a few problems. The cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired, and there were cobwebs on the balcony chairs. Although it’s meant to be quiet, we were woken by a drill at 9 a.m., and the maids shout in the hallways. The outdoor pool water used to be green, and the pool attendant came only once a week. Getting around is inconvenient too. You have to carry your luggage up a staircase from the parking, and in the rain you’re bound to get wet. The rooms face outside, and even though the route is covered, you have to go outdoors to reach the dining room or spa. Since quarantine, the prices have gone up excessively, and it’s not worth what they charge. Fortunately, that led us to a much better inn with more affordable prices, better service, and spotless cleanliness.

The setting is idyllic, with a wide variety of trees and plants, and the town center is only a few blocks away, an easy walk. It’s a small boutique hotel with just a few rooms, so it’s very peaceful. The rooms were a dream: clean, well-equipped, with French doors looking out onto lush forest, water-based heating, air conditioning, and fantastic king-size beds. Both the indoor and outdoor pools are heated, spacious, comfortable, and kept at a perfect temperature. There are jacuzzis everywhere. Breakfast had lots of fruit and was very complete, though eggs would have made it perfect. Coffee and pastries are left out in the dining room or on the terrace for an afternoon snack. The receptionists were incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive. The cleaning and service staff were discreet and courteous too. The place doesn’t host children, which is a plus for those of us looking to relax, though there are plenty of family-friendly hotels and cabins nearby. I’ll definitely choose it again and come back whenever I can get away! Special mention to the main host who asks for ham every morning, haha, so sweet and charming.
