Fabian and his family are incredible hosts. I don’t think I’ve ever been treated this well. The facilities are nice and clean, with an almost obsessive attention to detail. The indoor pool and jacuzzi were a godsend when it was too cold or rainy to enjoy the beach. They definitely saved my trip to Villa Gesell.

The beach is under a five-minute walk away, and the heated pool and spa are hard to beat. Breakfast is included, and getting up a little early is worth it for the fresh, tasty, filling spread. What really stood out, though, was how the family running the hotel paid attention to what guests wanted. I asked on my first night whether I could buy malbec, and they didn't have any then. The next evening there were three bottles in the fridge. They do their best to have what you need from the start, and if something's missing, they'll go out of their way to help. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Villa Gesell. It was a wonderful experience.

A small, charming hotel run by a family, in a great spot just a few steps from the beach. Everything was spotless, and private parking was included. I'd gladly come back.

Getting into town is easy by car or local taxi, and the fares aren't expensive. You can also walk. Playa Norte is only a block and a half away. We stayed at Chaltu, run by a lovely family who were always attentive and wonderful. The whole place was clean, and the cleaning staff were friendly and helpful. The pool, hot tub, and spa were fantastic, and breakfast had everything we could want. I can't think of anyone who's stayed at Chaltu and not wanted to return. We'll definitely be back when we visit Gesell.
