The staff were very attentive, the pool was lovely to enjoy late into the day, and the prices were affordable. You can walk to everything easily. On the downside, the hotel is next to the building that collapsed in 2024, killing 8 people, and around the corner from where Báez Sosa died 🙏🏼😔😬. Some rooms look out toward that building 😬. Without air conditioning in the apartment, warm summer nights could make it very hot 😬. Breakfast could have more savory choices 😊. Parking costs extra and is tricky because of the columns and tight turning space 😬.

The room was excellent and the service very good. Breakfast was complete, too. It's only two minutes from the beach and three from the pedestrian area. Good value for money, highly recommend it.

I stayed at Medamar Club in mid-November 2025 during low season, and will definitely return on my next Villa Gesell visit. The hotel was quiet, good value, and every employee was super attentive. You can bring in outside food. The breakfast had lots of homemade baked goods, though some fruit or fruit salad would have balanced out all those carbs. My two-room apartment was about 30 square meters, spectacular and spotless. It had a dining area with dining chairs, coffee table and small chairs, plus a futon armchair. The kitchen was spacious, very clean, and had a breakfast bar. There was a cot and storage in the hallway, a nice bathroom with a hairdryer and liquid soap dispensers by both the tub and sink. I had a minor electrical issue with the hairdryer. The bedroom was lovely, with a balcony and clothesline. There were two LED TVs, in the living dining area and bedroom, radiator heating, and a ceiling fan in the bedroom. On a rainy day, I read in the comfortable playroom, then spent time by the heated pool. The hotel is 200 meters from the beach and Avenida 3, the main avenue in the city center, and 100 meters from Avenida Buenos Aires, which leads directly to Route 11. The entrance to the Founding Forest is 200 meters away. Bus stops for Mar de las Pampas are nearby. You need a SUBE card, the single fare is $2600, and it takes two buses to get there.

The location is excellent, even though it's next to the hotel that collapsed. The water was cut off twice, and the pool wasn't heated, just lukewarm and below 32 degrees Celsius. Breakfast was okay but could be better, and the shared areas could use a large table.
