Awka Apart Hotel

The spa, sauna, and Scottish shower are available at a reasonable price, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is included and delicious. The brand-new, fully equipped apartments have stunning views and a great location, within walking distance of treks and lakes. Awka is easily my favorite place to stay in Villa la Angostura, and it's at the top of my list whenever I come to Patagonia.

The rooms and apartments are big, and there's a great pool. The walk down to the lake is wonderful too. Absolutely amazing place, highly recommend.

We rented a studio apartment and were really happy with it. It was super spacious, with a kitchenette, mini-fridge, double bed, and a futon that could sleep two more people. From the balcony we could see the pool and the surrounding landscape. The facilities were spotless, including the indoor/outdoor pool and barbecue area. You do have to reserve the barbecue area ahead of time and pay extra, but it's worth it if you want to grill with the family. There's also a game room and a breakfast area. The hotel is beautiful and everyone provides excellent service. It's a relaxing place surrounded by the sounds of nature, with a view of the hill and access to the Río Bonito trail. We hope to return soon.

They even prepared a tray for us the day before we left, since we were traveling very early and couldn't have breakfast. We'll be back whenever we can. The river is just steps away, and there's an easy trail where you can enjoy nature and reach the lake on a simple hike. You can hear the river from the balcony. The pool is large and comfortable, with indoor and outdoor areas, and towels and bathrobes are provided. The nearby sauna and showers have private bathrooms. There's a fully equipped, spotless game room with options for every age. We stayed in an apartment with a separate bedroom, which was very comfortable for the four of us. The rooms are spacious, with high-quality details and decor, and the views are lovely from every angle. The kitchen has everything you need, including high-quality appliances, and you can order food there too. Breakfast is very complete, the pastries change daily, and the homemade sweets are worthy of a tea house. Awka is in a beautiful neighborhood close to the main road and easy to reach. The entrance isn't steep like at some other resorts. It's a luxurious place, and the whole area is hard to do justice to in words. Thank you for taking such thoughtful care of us.
