Cabañas Agua Clara

The cabin matched what we expected for the price. The location was good, near the main road, and the beaches were reachable by car. It was quiet, too. We did have some problems. The power went out several times, which also meant no water because the pump stopped, and the stove wasn't working when we arrived. They were generally responsive and willing to sort things out, except after 8 pm. What bothered us most was the owner's attitude. He came into the cabin without permission to ask why we'd first asked for the stove to be fixed, then asked that no one enter while we were out. Those requests weren't contradictory: we wanted the stove fixed when we asked, and didn't want anyone coming in without us. He came across as somewhat arrogant, and we felt uncomfortable.

Ali welcomed us warmly and shared helpful tourist information, which we really appreciated. We spent four nights in the Angostura cabin. It was simple, charming, and very clean, with a covered carport, an outdoor grill and dining table, plus a sofa set and small table for relaxing. The bedroom had a very comfortable double bed, shelves, a cabinet, and a balanced-flue heater. The kitchen and dining room were also comfortable. There was an electric toaster, kettle, stovetop, and oven, as well as pots and pans. They supplied dish soap, a sponge, a ball-shaped towel, matches, candles, oil, vinegar, tea, coffee, and sugar. Under the TV was a cabinet with a third fold-down bed, and there was another balanced-flue heater in that room. The bathroom worked very well, with a shower that had great temperature and pressure, and dispensers of shampoo, conditioner, and bath soap. There were plenty of outlets, the Wi-Fi worked well, and it was excellent value for money.

The view was amazing and the place was super comfortable. They also accepted my two pets, which is rare. Highly recommend it.

Four families stayed in the cabins for five days, and they met our expectations. My family was in the Moquehue cabin. It was tidy and clean when we arrived, the kitchen was fully equipped, and the linens and towels were in good condition. The heating was excellent. There was radiant floor heating and a space heater, but the floor heating kept us comfortable on its own. Ali was always willing to help with anything we asked. We'd definitely return.
