Milana was the real highlight of our visit. She’s young, super friendly, full of positive energy, and focused on guests. I hope she keeps bringing that great service and attention, and wish her all the best. She could be a real asset to team Bogner as it works to earn top customer reviews again. The hotel is still waiting for formal approval for renovations. Its location is superb, with mountain panoramas in a quiet, authentic little village. The clean, fresh air made for excellent sleep.
We had a quiet, friendly base for the area, and I’d happily stay again. It’s just 15 minutes from Innsbruck and a short hop from the Swarovski Museum, with free parking and lovely mountain views. The rooms were clean and comfortable, in a traditional Alpine style, and the yard and terrace were nice, especially for a first coffee. Breakfast was satisfying, though a little more choice would suit a 4* place. Our room entry code didn’t work, and apparently this had happened before. Fortunately, someone was there to give us a key before 22:00. The rooms are comfortable without trying to look like a five-star showroom.
The room views are amazing, so the stay felt worth it. Breakfast was very good, and the receptionist and other service staff were kind, patient, and helpful. The room could use better pillows, though, and in one of our rooms the bed rubber was worn and starting to shred.
The room was more spacious and comfortable than I expected, and the quiet setting and free parking were definite pluses. It’s somewhat remote, but the mountain views are beautiful. There’s a faded-glory feel to the hotel. Check-in happens online through a registration form and entry codes, with no personal reception. If you arrive after 5 PM and don’t know the system, it can be confusing and impersonal. Breakfast was adequate, but could be better, especially with some fresh fruit. It may suit you if you want peace and don’t need much interaction.
I was there on a business trip, and Monday night was a worrying start. We arrived on Mon 3rd Nov after 6pm to find the hotel completely dark, even though booking.com had confirmed the booking as available. We couldn’t get in until I called the contact number on booking.com. A lady gave us a pin to enter and asked the night porter to bring a key. The porter didn’t tell us much beyond saying everything would be open the next day. There was no water in the room. If the hotel is closed on Mondays, it shouldn’t accept bookings for that day. I would have chosen another hotel if I’d known, and I was worried I’d have to sleep outside. Breakfast the next day was very limited, with dried fruit and some salad options. As someone with coeliac disease, I couldn’t have gluten-free cereal. They could provide a tiny roll baked in plastic, but it took 40 minutes. I was very disappointed.
