Sissi Apartments

We didn't feel comfortable here, and I wouldn't recommend it for families. There are lots of workers renting rooms in the house, and the beds weren't comfortable.

The apartment itself was clean, but I wouldn't recommend staying here. At the entrance, there were cigarettes scattered around, and every night staff and workers from the area gathered there to smoke, drink beer, and shout. We could smell the smoke all night. The room also had just one door shared by the toilet and shower, and the view was terrible. There was no soundproofing, so we couldn't sleep properly with the streetcars going by all night and the people at the front entrance. The place is isolated from the community, with no lighting, pavement, or other apartments nearby, which felt very dangerous after dark.

For a short stay, it was great for sleeping. The place was clean, nicely equipped, and pleasant, but there was very little storage if you're staying a week or longer. The washing machine is in the hallway and shared with the other apartments, so keep that in mind.

The owner brought some cutlery on the last evening, even though we'd contacted him several times during the stay. This was meant to be an apartment for six, but it had only four chairs and no kitchen utensils. The radiators didn't work properly, and public transport wasn't as close as we'd been told.
