Beautiful surroundings and a really nice room. A lovely place.

We came with two families and had a great stay in this lovely little guesthouse. The Italian staff were incredibly warm and friendly. Our rooms were very clean, and breakfast was plentiful, varied, and clearly prepared with care. We'll definitely come back!

We booked directly on the guesthouse website, which I highly recommend. It was cheaper than Check24, Booking.com, or similar sites, and free cancellation was included. One thing that would be nice is an email shortly before arrival. We booked in December and got nothing after the booking confirmation. The breakfast met our needs just fine: fresh rolls and toast, cheese and cold cuts, jam and Nutella, partly sliced cucumber and tomato, eggs to boil or fry, apple and orange juice, and coffee from a Jura coffee machine. Otherwise, coffee is available for €3.50. We were always served politely, got quick answers to questions, and changing rooms was no problem. I also can't confirm reports of paint smells or similar odors. The guesthouse was in good shape during our visit and regularly aired out. We spent four nights hiking in the area. It's a lovely, affordable guesthouse near Lake Achensee. The beds were perfectly fine, the linens clean, and we had three small and three large towels for four nights. Still, the tables in the breakfast room weren't wiped during our five-day stay, and the ashtrays stayed full the whole time, even though we're non-smokers. For an affordable place with good value, I'd recommend it.

The owners were super friendly, the beds comfortable, and the place spotlessly clean. Breakfast was delicious and offered a good selection. The furnishings and decor seem to have stayed in the 1970s, though. We spent one night in a family room while passing through, and it's highly recommendable if you don't need a modern designer room.
