The scenery and the surroundings are lovely, and the hosts were very nice. I’d never seen flower arrangements that beautiful before, during our July stay. A great place to stay.

We paid around €420 for four people, including breakfast, for three days and two nights, which felt like excellent value for this beautiful area. The accommodation was clean and lovely for a short trip to Achensee. Breakfast was delicious, served by the owner herself in a small, rustic room, and she was very friendly and attentive.

Mrs. Spieler keeps the place with such care, and she was always smiling. Her tips for things to do were great. We found her husband to be a lovable curmudgeon. The apartment itself was comfortable, very clean, and well maintained, with everything we needed for everyday life. I can wholeheartedly recommend it.

We were a group of six and stayed two nights. The apartment was clean, though dated and quite noisy, and the towels smelled a little musty. The landlady welcomed us very warmly, but on the second morning, when we politely asked for more toilet paper because two rolls seemed a bit little for six people, she agreed. Her husband was beside her and complained that we should have bought our own. We’d never experienced anything like that. It was adequate, but I don’t understand all the glowing reviews.

We’d happily book here again. The apartment was spotless, well equipped, and had very comfortable beds. It was also very child friendly. Breakfast was first class, with something different each day. We were greeted with a smile first thing in the morning, and the friendly service continued all day. The bus stop is five minutes away on foot, with hourly buses you can ride free using the guest card.
