After our car broke down, we booked late and took the only room we could find. We were more than happy with the warm welcome, lovely room, and breakfast, and the dog was comfortable too. We had no car and it was the weekend, so getting back to Lienz was difficult. The owner of the Villas was incredibly kind, drove us there, and checked that the trains were running before leaving. They weren't looking for payment, and we had to insist several times. Service above and beyond.

I wish I could have stayed longer at Villa Elisabeth. The rooms were nice, and both the location and view were excellent. The staff were so kind, friendly, and helpful. Even with the language barrier, Sylvia was wonderful. I adored the place and its staff.

The owner was very kind, and the grounds are lovely for a picnic. It's a beautiful countryside setting, and overall I had a nice time. I stayed in the downstairs room, where the internet was slow, and someone had smoked before I arrived. Just before my train, I had to rush around town to find an ATM for cash because I only found out when paying that they didn't accept credit cards. Thanks for everything.

After driving 1000km, we arrived to find the apartment had been double booked, despite receiving a very friendly email confirmation that everything was fine. They told us about the problem in an unfriendly way.

The place was clean, the food was good, and the owner was a charming, very friendly lady. She was simply wonderful. Breakfast was a feast for the eyes, and when we were leaving she insisted we take whatever we wanted with us. We couldn't, so she packed sweets for our kids. Loved every minute there.
