After a full day on the Dachstein Circuit, arriving at Steinerhaus felt like a real relief for my wife and me. We had a lovely evening meal, with several options to choose from, and breakfast the next morning was generous enough to set us up for another hike. The staff made us feel very welcome and were patient with our rather poor attempts at Austrian. Our room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of hot water. Sitting on the terrace in the sunshine with a cold radler was a highlight. A really good place to stay.

The views over the area are lovely, and the service was so friendly. We found plenty to choose from on the menu, including some surprisingly tasty pizzas, and the food was delicious. The dining room felt cosy, and breakfast was much better than we’d expected from a hut. Definitely recommend it.

There’s lots to do around this friendly hotel, and the staff are happy to help you get around. We loved the views, the tasty food, and how kind everyone was. Such a wonderful place to stay, I’d definitely recommend it! ⛰️

We had a good stay despite the weather not cooperating. The location is excellent, and the rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast could have had more variety, but the staff were helpful and quick to respond.

The owner and staff were genuinely kind and helpful, and we’d happily return for a longer stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable, parking was plentiful, and it was nice to have a restaurant on site for dinner with that view. Breakfast was very good too. The setting is peaceful, with beautiful views and pleasant trails nearby, and even the drive up to the hotel was an experience. We arrived expecting a nice place and were pleasantly surprised.
