Mountain & Spa Resort Alpbacherhof

The atmosphere at the hotel is elegant and you feel quite spoiled. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and Giacomo, who waited on us most days, did a really good job. The spa was lovely, the breakfast was really good, and our spacious room was thoroughly cleaned each day. Dinner is a bit fine dining, so it may not suit everyone. It was our first time skiing in Austria, and the hotel helped us get organized before we arrived. They advised me about ski rental and ski schools for the kids, so I could arrange everything in advance. The hotel is well positioned, parking was no problem, and we really enjoyed the stay. We’ll definitely be back next year.

The room was lovely and had a lovely view. The hotel itself was lovely too, with fantastic spa facilities, and I especially enjoyed the sauna experiences. The food was amazing and the staff were always on hand.

I really enjoyed my two nights at this spa hotel. My room looked out across the valley and mountains, and was spacious, clean, and quiet thanks to good soundproofing. It had a large bathroom and a separate WC. The staff were friendly and efficient, and breakfast had a great range of fresh pastries, fruit, smoothies, savoury dishes, and food made to order. I didn’t try the spa or pool, though they looked appealing. The one thing I’d change is the mattress, which felt a bit too soft for me. Of course, that’s personal preference.

A nice, cozy hotel in the mountains of western Austria. The rooms with a mountain view are warm and comfortable in winter, and parking is right next to the hotel. Some of the staff were kind and helpful, and breakfast was nice with good options. The spa is pleasant, especially if you book it privately for two as a couple. It is around 45 minutes from Innsbruck and a bit far from lively cities and places. Still, it’s a nice, cozy place to stay if you’re happy being away from the busy spots.
