This seems better suited to older kids who ski. We brought our 2 year old, and there wasn't much for them to do. The splash area for smaller kids is great, and there's soft play, but that's about it. There are a few outdoor playgrounds, though they're pretty much inaccessible in winter. I can imagine there being a lot more for little ones in summer. Meal times were tricky with a small child too: lunch didn't start until 1:30 and dinner was at 6. Worth keeping in mind. We originally booked a room with a bathtub, but on arrival got a different room because apparently we were meant to request a tub. Reception did offer to move us, which was nice, so make sure to request one even if you've booked a particular room. There's also a beautiful Toboggan run near the resort, but it's too far to manage with a little one. I'd definitely come back when our son is a bit older, and would love to try again in a few years.

We’ll remember Hotel Galtenberg with a lot of warmth. The care put into the place really shows, from how beautifully maintained everything is to the thoughtful service and welcoming feel. The meals were a particular treat, delicious and clearly made with care and quality ingredients. A heartfelt thank you to Sabine, the management, and everyone on the team for making our stay so lovely. We hope future groups treat the hotel and its wonderful staff with the same kindness and respect we experienced.

We love this place for the atmosphere, the champagne, and the lovely bar staff. Kevin was especially helpful and great to deal with. One thing puzzled us: after paying to use the bowling alley one evening, we were told the following night that it was only for hotel guests. Nobody else was waiting to bowl, so we didn't understand why we couldn't use it. We would have stayed for a couple more drinks.

The people at Galtenberg Resort made our visit especially memorable. Everyone was kind, pleasant, and so ready to help us feel comfortable. Susanna, Katherine, Steffi, Eva, Nicole, and Laci deserve a special mention for the difference they made. The resort is beautiful, and we loved every minute there. We felt warmly welcomed throughout and sincerely hope to return soon. Your friends from Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦

A great resort to visit with younger kids. I've been to plenty of family resorts, and this one really stood out. I'd book it without hesitation for a vacation, it felt like a sure bet.
