We were there in late April, and the weather was predictable and perfect. The place is beautiful, with old-world buildings, green pastures, valley views, and loads of flowers. You can hear honeybees buzzing and sheep bells clanging softly on the hillside. Gitti and her family are super friendly, and she has homemade bread, eggs, milk, cheese, butter, jams and jellies, honey, juice, schnapps, and other things for sale. There are endless options for outdoor activities a short drive away. One of the best places in the world. If you’re wondering about booking, just go enjoy it.

The owner is really friendly and can offer recommendations if you need them. The apartment is clean, peaceful, cozy, and relaxing, with all the equipment and utensils for cooking. In the morning, you wake up to the sound of cowbells. A great place to stay when visiting Alpbach!

We’ve stayed twice already and will definitely return. Alpenrausch is well equipped, very clean, and just right for two people, with very good Wi-Fi. The location and apartments are fantastic, and the host is great. There are lots of homemade products available, including a breakfast basket we can recommend.

Gitti was so warm and accommodating, and we had a wonderful week at her farm. It’s a lovely base for beautiful hikes. We’ll definitely come back!

The breakfast basket can be ordered with homemade bread, yogurt, and even cream cheese, plus fresh eggs and milk. Everything went smoothly, without any hassle. Gitti is so welcoming that you feel at home right away. Our charming apartment had local decor, was spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed. We’d love to return.
