A comfortable, clean apartment with loads of equipment, in a quiet spot close to the lake. The price was reasonable, and the hostess and her husband were pleasant and helpful. Highly recommended!

The owner was kind, dogs stayed free, and the double bed was good. The large, basic apartment is on the second floor with no lift, close to Aussersee lake and the pedestrian promenade. Nights were quiet, but the carpenter next door started at 8:00am with loud machinery. Parking was limited because it’s shared with the hotel next door. The price felt too high for a place being sold as luxury. The furnishings are out of fashion, and the large bathroom looks like it’s from the 60s, with no separate toilet. The kitchen and crockery are basic. There’s a private dishwasher, but the old shared washing machine, used by the owner and the second apartment too, wasn’t very clean. We were charged €45 for final cleaning, yet still found food remains in the fridge and kitchen cupboards from previous guests. All in all, it’s okay for 4-5 nights if you spend most of your time sightseeing.

We’ve stayed here three times this year already :-) It’s a cozy, clean apartment with a fantastic view of Trisselwand mountain. We’re usually alone at the bathing area, which is shared by two other apartments, and can enjoy looking out at the Dachstein massif. It’s a great base for hikes and then a refreshing swim in the lake. Thanks to the hosts, who are always ready to help when we need something!

The setting in the mountains is stunning, and the apartment has everything you need. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. The private bathing area isn’t large, but with only three apartments in the building, we were often lucky enough to have the lake to ourselves. Dogs can go right into the water. We were there the first week of July, when it was very, very hot, and our one complaint was having no shade or umbrellas between 1 and 3 pm. We’ll definitely come back!
