Our room was huge, warm, and had everything we needed. Breakfast was included and made a great start to every day. Even little things around the apartment, like the ski boot warmer, showed how much care goes into hosting. The hosts are fantastic, happy to meet your needs and full of local knowledge. By the end, you'll feel like you know the area yourself. Brilliant stay!

James and Tracey make you feel like family in their lovely guesthouse, and we always have so much fun there. We've visited in both summer and winter, and each season has its own stunning beauty. From every window, the mountain scenery looks like a postcard. The warmth and kindness here are hard to recommend enough. We've already started planning our next trip as soon as we leave, and we're looking forward to coming back. Lots of love.

I keep coming back to Haus Kienreich, a real gem run by James and Tracey. They know the area inside out, and the setting is stunning, with a spectacular view to enjoy over your morning coffee. The charming Radstadt/Altenmarkt ski area is a short distance away. You can also take a short bus ride to the extensive linked Zauchensee/Flachau/Wagrain ski area, which I think is one of the best in the Alps.

James and Tracy make this family-run place feel like home, with a warmth and care that start the moment you arrive. It's hard to find that kind of genuine welcome. You can get to local amenities easily, and skiing, lakes, and lovely walks are all nearby. There's plenty to do, or you can simply switch off and find some stillness. We left feeling lighter and restored. It's a special place, and we'll be back without hesitation.

My husband and I had another fabulous visit to Haus Kienreich. We were lucky enough to get a late-season snowfall, which made the stay even more magical. James and Tracey, along with their gorgeous, friendly dogs, are wonderful hosts. The setting is stunning, and it's a great place to relax or get out and explore, any time of year. Highly recommend!
