The location is great. There’s a small park right across the way with quick access to the lake and promenade, and shops are an easy walk too. We really liked the modern apartment, the well-equipped kitchen, and the big terrace with its little garden, especially for a stay with children. The view of Traunstein is superb. One small drawback in June: the bedroom got warm quickly, reaching 25 degrees Celsius. With the nearby road noise, sleeping with the window open was almost impossible. That’s just how it was for us, and not something the landlord can control. Still, I’d recommend the apartment 😊.

We had a wonderful stay, thanks to the very friendly Steinkogler family, who live in the same building. The apartments are right by Lake Attersee, with restaurants and a supermarket within walking distance. Hallstatt is about an hour away by car. Inside, everything is finished to a high standard, including a great bathroom, blinds in every room, and underfloor heating throughout. There wasn’t a grill on the terrace, so we brought our own electric tabletop one. Maybe the Steinkogler family might consider adding a small two-burner gas grill. That would make it perfect! :))) We’ll be back :)))

We stayed in apartment number 3, which was spacious and beautiful, with nothing we felt was missing. The hosts were friendly, helpful, and easy to deal with. It’s close to the center and the lake and boat dock.
