A real gem, with a lovely setting and a beautiful building. Our room was comfortable and very nice, and Salzburg old town is about a 10-minute drive away. We loved our stay.

The grounds are quiet and relaxing, the rooms are spacious, and the bedding is exquisite. The staff made us feel extremely welcome. I highly recommend staying here.

We keep coming back whenever we visit Austria! Loved the rooms, food, pool, parking, lobby, and spa. Perfect place!!!!!!!! I recommend it 👍🏼

8/10
The rooms have a traditional look and are generally well equipped, but charging a device by the bed is awkward because there isn’t an outlet close by. The available sockets are tied to the bar lighting, so leaving something to charge overnight means keeping the lights on. Not great for getting a restful night.

4/10
I’ve stayed here several times over the past few years, and it’s sad to see the service decline. This last visit was a real disappointment. We booked for three, but bedding was only provided for two. The beds are old and uncomfortable, and the air conditioning didn’t work during very hot weather, so we slept terribly. The front desk staff and management were unfriendly and unhelpful. For a four-star hotel charging over 360 EUR per night, these problems weren’t what I expected. When we reported the broken air conditioning, there wasn’t even an apology, just a small discount offered reluctantly. Such a shame for a lovely place.
