The on-site repair man showed up just minutes after we called about an appliance, which was brilliant service. We also got great value for money. The chalet was tastefully furnished, had all the equipment we needed, including a washing machine, and made for a fantastic stay. We'd highly recommend it.

The reception team are always so helpful :-) We love coming here in both summer and winter. There are hiking trails right from the village, and you can go as far or as high as you like. Last month we had a lot of fun with the new electric mountain bikes available below reception. In winter, Alpendorf is ideally located for skiing in the beautiful Dachstein mountains, with lovely views and friendly restaurants.

Each cottage has a sauna and hearth, so you can warm up after a full day of skiing. There’s also a swimming pool in the complex. The ski resort is five minutes away by car or less. With enough snow, you might be able to get there on skis, though I’ve never tried :D. We had a lot of great memories here. It’s a great place for nine people, maybe more if someone’s happy sleeping on the sofa. If you’re visiting Dachstein West, I definitely recommend staying here.
