Ferienhaus Kramser

The only real downside is that rooms are hard to find. We wanted to stay another day, but everything was booked. Claudia, Danilo and Kevin, thank you for one of our best experiences! The owners were so welcoming, and the house felt beautifully decorated and cozy. The mountain view was astonishing, and the air was fresh. Swimming in the pool on a summer day while looking at the green mountain slopes was wonderful. Just remember to close the windows before dusk because of the mosquitoes.

Our little holiday was absolutely perfect. The mountain views were stunning, the place was peaceful, and the rooms were spotless and comfortable. Breakfast was sensational, and the owners treated us like family.

Claudia and Danilo showed me such generous kindness during a very difficult day, and I can’t thank them enough. In early June 2024, I was cycling the Alpe-Adria bike trail from Salzburg, Austria, toward Grado, Italy. It had been pouring that day and through much of the previous week. I was cold and soaked through, it was 6:00 p.m. and getting dark, and I had nowhere to camp. The main hotel in nearby Arnoldstein, Austria, was fully booked, but its manager contacted Claudia, who had one room left. What a relief! Danilo drove down the mountain to pick me up with my bike. I slept well, had an excellent breakfast, and my clothes were relatively dry after a night in their warm furnace room. By 9:00 a.m. I felt ready to keep cycling toward Grado, Italy, and warmer, sunnier weather. That finally arrived a few days later when I reached Grado. I highly recommend this B&B. The peaceful, cozy atmosphere made Ferienhaus Kramser a great place to rest. The house is beautiful, with very clean, tidy rooms and amazing mountain views. The bathroom was good, the beds quite comfortable, and the owners very friendly.
