Hotel Restaurant Südrast Dreiländereck

The room was spotless and the beds really comfortable. Staff were incredibly warm and helpful, and the view just outside the hotel was breathtaking. Best stay of my trip so far.

Impressive scenery and a very clean, well-equipped room made this a great overnight stop. Reception was quick and polite. I had to leave early, so I didn't try breakfast, but I still think this hotel is great value for the price.

I can't find the words for how beautiful this place is. The location is fabulous, and the natural scenery is mesmerizing. The hotel staff were kind and helpful, and the food was wonderful. Don't miss the river: sit at its edge, put your feet in the water, and just enjoy the view and the sound. It can make you forget all your problems for a while. Excellent 👌🏼

The vegetables were inedible, sadly. The boiled potatoes tasted strange, and the asparagus, supposedly white, was oddly brown. The boiled carrots were starchy with no seasoning or sweetness. It was the worst meal I've had in decades, and it was expensive too. My parents' fries were reasonably good, though they would've liked them cooked a little longer. The cashier was really friendly, but the woman at the food counter was sour. Given what she was serving, I can see why she might not want to eat it. Such a shame that Austria can't manage decent food at the last stop before Italy!
