Wallner - Genusswirt mit Atmosphäre

We stopped here to eat on our way home from Italy after someone recommended it. I'm really glad we did. I had filetsteaks with redwine sauce, fried onions and oven baked potatoes, and just thinking about it makes my mouth water. The moon was shining when we came out.

We weren't staying here, but they still gave us an amazing breakfast with plenty of choice and quality food. The staff were fantastic and very kind. The atmosphere was really pleasant, and the whole experience made this place unforgettable for me. Thank you.

The breakfast was really good, and the happy egg was a fun surprise. Try the burger at dinner, it's generous and one of the best I've had so far. The rooms are nice, the service very good, and the hotel itself is excellent.

The service for a simple strudel and coffee had three clear problems: no napkin, no knife, and the coffee arrived five minutes before the strudel. They should have brought them together, since the coffee should be hot when you drink it after the strudel. Without even a paper napkin, I had to wipe my mouth on my jacket sleeve. A spoon and fork came, but the strudel needed a knife too. The place also refuses card payments under 20 euros, though I don't know what criteria they use for that limit. Management should train the waiters better and stop imposing irritating rules on the few customers who spend less than 20 euros. That's what restaurant management should be doing.
