The staff were friendly and the food was great. I’d advise the owner to take some basic training in customer respect and satisfaction. I was asked to leave by the owner while I was waiting at a table for the rest of our party of nine to arrive, even though I was ordering drinks and food. Trying to discuss it went nowhere. The response was, “my house my rules.” So a table that could have seated nine was given to another group of four instead, cutting your turnover in half. You’ve also left nine customers unhappy who won’t come back, and earned a painful Google review.

Martin and Eva make you feel right at home at this lovely little family-run hotel and restaurant. The staff are all really nice, and the food and service are great.

We stopped in for their kaiserschmarm and really enjoyed it. Delicious food, great service, and there’s a big sun terrace too.

Really good service, and the best Kaiserschmarrn I’ve had anywhere in Austria!

We’ll be back next year. Platz Alm is a lovely place to ski, with beautiful views and friendly staff. The food is excellent, especially breakfast.
